Marissa and Alejandro had been working together for a year when they were floated to the COVID unit in July 2020. Marissa begged Alejandro not to leave her side, and he stuck by her the entire night. They began playing a game on their phones together. Over the next two months they went from playing the game, to talking for hours. In September they had their first date at Barnes and Noble, picking out a book to read together. They made things official October 8th, after a date night of watching Twilight movies (Marissa insisted they were cult classics, and it was a crime that he’d never seen them). Marissa and Alejandro continued to work together for 3 more years until they moved in together in March 2023. Marissa loves to joke that it was the long steamy nights of wiping butts together that made them fall in love.
