Wedding Party

Meet our Family and Friends that will walking down the aisle with us!

Molly

Officiant

Molly has been a huge part of our lives; she was my roommate for years and the one who brought Alec and me together. She was there the day I first heard about him, and now she gets to bring us together officially.

Elizabeth

Matron of Honor

Elizabeth, known to me as" Pizz "and I have been tackling Brooklyn side by side. She’s my lifeline in this city, and I honestly can’t picture life here without her.

Jenna

Bridesmaid

Jenna and I were roommates at Wilkes, and over the years, she’s become one of my closest and most treasured friends. I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this special day.

Flo

Bridesmaid

Flo and I were roommates in grad school during one of the toughest chapters of my life. Living together by chance turned into a deep friendship I truly treasure. I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this special day.

Carley

Bridesmaid

Carley and I were roommates at Wilkes, and I’m grateful for the memories we’ve shared and to have her celebrating with me on this special day.

Kimmy

Bridesmaid

Kimmy and I were both living in Brooklyn when we became really close. Our friendship has only grown since, and I’m grateful to have her by my side today.

Nate

Best Man

Nate and I first became friends through basketball when I joined his AYBT team, the Rockford Rage. What started on the court quickly grew into a true friendship built on our love of sports and our shared sense of humor. Through high school, Nate was always game to jump into any funny videos we made, no matter how absurd or ridiculous. PK3 Even though we live in different states now, we’ve stayed close. We catch up often over the phone, spend late nights playing Call of Duty, and talk about life and what’s next. Nate and I have always been each other’s biggest supporters, cheering each other on as we chase our dreams.

Ryan

Groomsman

My oldest brother Ryan has played a huge role in shaping who I am today. He helped me land my job at BET in New York City—a move that completely changed my life, taking me from Chicago to the city where so many of my dreams started coming true. Ryan and I have always bonded over our love of movies, filmmaking, and creativity. Over the past five years, we’ve built a business together, making films and shows that reflect that shared passion. He’s been my creative sounding board, my collaborator, and—most importantly—my protective big brother.

Devon

Groomsman

Devon is the reason I fell in love with rap music. He was always the one getting the newest albums, and some of my favorite memories are of us grabbing an energy drink and a Fast Break, then sitting in his car blasting the latest Lil Wayne CD. Those moments sparked a love for music that’s stayed with me ever since. Beyond that, Devon has always been the kind of brother who would fight for me any day of the week. No matter what’s going on, he’s there with advice, support, and a steady presence I know I can count on. I’m lucky to have him as both a brother and a groomsman.

Nick

Groomsman

Nick and I first met at North Middle School through basketball, and from there we built a friendship around sports, endless conversations, and plenty of adventures. At one point, we even created our own two-man gang called R.A.B. One of our most legendary memories? The time we ended up getting chased into a cornfield. Beyond the wild stories, Nick has always been a true friend—someone I can count on and laugh with no matter what stage of life we’re in.

Chris

Groomsman

Chris and I go all the way back to first grade. From riding bikes around the neighborhood to spending hours playing video games we probably weren’t old enough for, we’ve been inseparable since we were kids. We bonded over our shared love of Eminem and WWE wrestling, and that friendship only grew stronger over the years. In our early twenties, we even lived together in Chicago, where we both worked at Noodles & Company (I was the one who got him the job!). Through every stage of life, Chris has been there, and I’m so grateful to have him standing by my side on this day.

Ricky

Groomsman

Ricky is Marissa’s younger brother, and over the years, he’s become a great friend of mine. We bonded quickly over our shared love of horror movies, and that passion led us to working together on two horror films. It’s been amazing to grow that friendship through both creativity and family, and I’m grateful to have him standing with me on this day.
