FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open at 6:45 PM, and we kindly ask that you arrive by then so we can begin our ceremony promptly at 7:00 PM.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're hosting a Black-Tie Optional celebration, and we invite you to dress for a formal evening with us. Tuxedos and suits with ties are wonderful choices for gentlemen, while ladies may opt for an evening gown or midi-length dress.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

No, the Boston Public Library does not have onsite parking. If you plan to drive to the wedding, there are several paid parking garages nearby. We recommend that any guests driving park at the Back Bay Garage, 199 Clarendon St. Boston MA 02116. Check out www.backbaygarage.com for a discount code!

Question

Which library entrance do I use?

Answer

Please use the McKim Building entrance at 230 Dartmouth Street (not the Boylston Street entrance).

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No transportation will be provided. All hotel room blocks are within walking distance of the venue, and the Copley and Back Bay T stops are nearby. Uber and Lyft are also widely available in Boston.
