Marissa swiped right on Morgan in May of 2017. After a couple weeks of talking I could tell Morgan was very genuine and kind :) Our first date Morgan and I went to Bob Evans followed by BAD karaoke with ALL of my girlfriends (brave huh?) Since that didn’t scare him away, we spent our second date we spent exploring downtown Detroit and ending up at the Riverfront Carnival. We've been searching out delicious detroit grub and beer ever since.

It was a rare sunny day in January- but barely above 25 degrees. Morgan suggested we walk around downtown, and reminisce on all our favorites in Detroit. We wondered into The Michigan History Museum (one of our faves) before heading to Belle Isle to watch the sunset. The sky was streaked with pinks and oranges, just before it fully set Morgan got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I was so shocked all I could mutter out was "yeah" :)
