Landen and I first met at a high school dance. We were both there with different people, and at that moment he was nothing more than a familiar face attached to a name. Little did we know that in just a few years, our lives would be woven together in a way neither of us could’ve imagined. Our second meeting came two years later. He was no longer just a face, he was my friend. Warm, inviting, and someone I naturally gravitated toward. But our hearts were in different places, and life gently nudged us down separate paths. Then, years later, Landen reached out. And from that point on, we were inseparable. We grew closer effortlessly. Late night talks, leaning on each other through hard moments, becoming each other’s steady place. Early in our relationship, we got engaged and began renovating our home together. I’m sure people wondered if it would last… but here we are getting married and living in the home we built with love and a whole lot of faith. I never imagined I would find a man like him. I am endlessly grateful that God blessed me with someone so loving, so kind, and so patient. We cannot wait to see what God has planned for us next. The wait was worth every moment.
