Chase and I both attended Itawamba Community College where we had a class together. We spent half the semester exchanging glances across the room, but neither of us had the courage to make the first move. After two months of quick glances, Chase finally stopped me after class and struck up a conversation. Little did I know I had just spoken to the man I would spend the rest of my life with. We talked occasionally, and there was an obvious spark, but it never seemed to be the right time for us . Fast forward to the next year, we decided it was the right time and struck up a relationship October 21, 2017.
Chase planned a New Years trip to Chattanooga for just the two of us. He insisted on going to Lookout Mountain before going out that night. We took some selfies, but he kept insisting we get someone to take our picture for us. We finally found someone and the next thing I know he turns me toward him and gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. It was the easiest "yes". A moment I had been looking forward to and one I will never forget. We can't wait to share our love with everyone and say the words "I do."
