Flight
Lecce is most easily reached via Brindisi (30 min) or Bari (1.5–2 hrs) airports. From either, guests may travel by car, shuttle, or direct train to join us. Both airports connect through Rome, Naples, or Milan, with a nonstop flight to Bari from Newark. Unfortunately, Brindisi airport will not have a direct flight option. Another option is flying into Naples (NAP), which offers direct flights from Philly. You can rent a car or hire a driver for the scenic 4-hour drive to Lecce. We recently did this, and it was so easy and stress-free -- highly recommend!

United Airlines offers nonstop flights from Newark (EWR) to Bari (BRI)- about 1.5/2 hr train/drive from Lecce • Direct flights operate multiple days per week in early September • Most common days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday • Flight duration: ~9 hours • Typical outbound times: Depart EWR 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM → Arrive BRI 6:30 AM – 7:45 AM

This option is more of an apartment-style stay rather than a traditional hotel, with suites that include a kitchen. Check-in and check-out are handled entirely online, making it very easy. It's located directly across the street from the wedding venue, Torre del Parco, and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the historic city center.

While this is available for guests who prefer it, we do not necessarily recommend it due to its distance, and we cannot guarantee transportation to or from the wedding events.
