Intentions
With This Morning Light
We gather not just to witness, but to become
A circle of love, a rising drum.
This is not just a wedding; it is covenant, it is call.
Black love is no small thing
It is revolution wrapped in a ring.
We believe in forever not for ease,
but as a bold kind of tether.
God dreamed us whole, stitched laughter into one soul.
Through questions and choosing, through joy and ache,
we return to this sacred yes we make.
We don’t just marry; we minister through this vow:
To each other, to community, to now.
So come sing, breathe, and bless,
For joy is our inheritance.
With this morning light, we say:
We choose.
We trust.
We build.
We bloom.
We do.
