Car Rental All major car rental companies operate out of Tucson International Airport. Renting a car is a great option if you’d like to explore Tucson, hike nearby trails, or visit local restaurants and attractions during the weekend.

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

For those traveling longer distances, you may find additional (and sometimes more affordable) flight options by flying into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). Phoenix is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours by car from Loews Ventana Canyon and offers a wider range of flight times and pricing. If you choose to fly into Phoenix, we recommend renting a car for the drive to Tucson. The route is simple and scenic, and a great option for those looking for flexibility during the weekend.
