We met in Summer 2014 when Joey posted to a 'Summer in SLO' Facebook group about some free tickets he had to a San Luis Obispo Blues Baseball game. Marissa took him up on his offer and a friendship quickly grew. After months of being friends, we officially began to date in December 2014. If you ask Marissa, the first official date night was in January 2015 at Mama's Meatballs. If you ask Joey, the first official date was at Starbucks during Summer 2014. We've grown and experienced so much together - after all, we were 19 and 21 when we met. On our wedding day we'll be celebrating 9 years of knowing each other. We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together, and we especially can't wait to celebrate with all our loved ones with us in the place where we first met.
