We met at a high school graduation party - how romantic, right? Marisa saw Michael from across the room, thought he was cute, and asked her cousin if he was the help. ...oops! That silly question lead to the family set up. Marisa wasn't allowed to leave the party until she, and her parents, met Michael, and his entire family. ...yikes! A couple days later, Marisa received a texted message from Michael stating that he was told to shoot her a text. ...this just keeps getting more romantic, doesn't it? From there, Marisa, had to look him up on every form of social media before answering. ...obviously! Don't worry, he passed the stalking period, and the dating began! The more time we spent together, the more we realized how much we have in common, and how much we genuinely enjoy each other's company. One passion we both share is travel. We've been everywhere from Hilton Head, to Denver, to San Diego, and we don't plan on stopping until we see it all!

As you Pittsburghers know, Light Up Night is one of the most exciting events in the 'burgh. During this past Light Up Night, in the middle of Fort Duquesne Blvd, while surrounded by family and friends, Michael got down on one knee and popped the best question Marisa has ever been asked! Now, here we are! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with all of you!
