Our wedding will be at Riverbend Church in the northwest part of Austin. However, the location of the church is not immediately near hotels so we wanted to give you some advice on areas to stay if you've never been to Austin before.

Airports:
The closest airport is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. There is also San Antonio International Airport, about an hour and a half away.

Hotels:
When looking for hotels there are many options in Austin. For those traveling from the North, we love the area known as "The Domain." There is a large shopping district with fun shops, hotels, restaurants, and bars. it is approximately 15 minutes from Riverbend Church.

Just south of downtown, there is a strip of affordable hotels close to the airport. They are off I-35, just south of 295, and about 20 minutes from Riverbend Church.

Downtown there are many hotels near the popular bar districts of 6th street and Rainey street, as well as an abundance of Air BNB's and VRBO's scattered around town.
