Nic and Marisa met on September 28th, 2019, but did not start dating until August 2nd 2020! The whole story is a funny one, and better told by Marisa. The next time you see her, ask her to tell you the long version of the story 😉

Nic did an amazing job. The whole day was planned out! Belgian waffles for breakfast. Shopping in Bruges. A tour of a Belgian chocolate museum. This man even planned time for a NAP! A Michelin star dinner, followed by a short walk to the beautiful bridge photographed above! During the walk, Nic had a whole speech planned, telling Marisa about the day they met, their first date, when he knew he loved her, when he knew she was the one. By the time they got to the bridge, they were both sobbing! When Nic got down on one knee and popped the big question, Marisa was crying too hard to get the word "yes" out, so she just nodded aggressively!

Belle was Marisa's dog when Nic and her first met. It took some time for Belle to get used to having a man around, she still has a strong distaste for them in general. After a while, Belle started cuddling up to Nic, and now they are inseparable 🥰 Marisa, Nic and Belle, the little family of 3!
