We met as new teachers at the same school, and as luck (or maybe just scheduling) would have it, we were assigned to co-teach the same homeroom class. At first, we were just coworkers figuring things out together — sharing lesson plans, classroom chaos, and way too many cups of coffee. Somewhere between staff meetings and school events, a friendship started to grow... and so did a bit of a mutual crush. Eventually, one of us decided to make a move and asked the other out. One date led to another, and before long, we realized this was something worth holding on to. The rest is history — and still unfolding.
