As we do many summers together we were spending a week up in northern MN at my grandparents cabin with my family. Around sunset as we were about to sit down to enjoy a campfire, Jordan and I headed down to the dock for a final sunset together. Jordan who is an amazing guitar player, and asked to play me a song. Jordan played "Prayed For You by Matt Stell" and we sang the song together. My family was watching from afar and the only one who was "in the know" was my sisters boyfriend Kaylan. Who knew he was so good at keeping a secret!! He was in charge of taking the video and pictures as he sat hidden in the trees during the whole thing! I was in so much shock I forgot to say yes! It truly was something we wont ever forget!!

Jordan and I "re-met" in St. Paul outside O'Gara's Bar on St. Patricks Day and started dating not long after that. At the time we were both going to college not even 2 miles from each other at St. Thomas and St. Kates. Jordan and I had previously known each other from high school. I even wore his football jersey my Junior year and his Sophomore year for homecoming. Some might even say we even knew each other before high school as both our dad's worked for Bank Midwest many years ago.
