We met through a mutual friend at a bowling night in 2019. Neither of us was planning on going, but we did and look how that turned out. Love at first strike! The past 6 years have been filled with many trips and adventures, lots of schooling, career changes, and growth. We've known that we wanted to get married for a long time, and after years of waiting the question was finally asked. On November 14th, 2025, we went on a trip that Isaac had planned to beautiful Carmel. That day was meant to be, as there was finally a break in the rain. It may have been suspected that something was coming, since he had planned all of the first day and none of the subsequent days of our trip. After arriving in downtown Carmel, we got coffee and walked around window shopping. We headed to the B&B to check in and get dressed for the sunset before our dinner reservation. After arriving at the mostly private beach, Isaac suggested we go far beyond the other groups of people that were there. After what felt like a lot of walking, we put down a beach blanket and sat and talked since the sun was still high. We took photos together and went to walk down by the water. Isaac's perfectly practiced speech fell apart as he was overcome by the joy and excitement of the moment. Frankly, we both were surprised. Marisa accepted the ring that was carefully crafted over the course of 6 painstakingly long months, and then hidden for another month so she wouldn't accidentally find it. The tears were flowing and joy filled our hearts. We cannot wait to share more of our love with you all in August. Thank you for being a part of our story!
