Our first date was in January 2016. After meeting online and exchanging a few texts about the importance of Armageddon (the movie), we decided to meet in person. At a wine bar on the Lower East Side (I’m sure you can tell who picked the place), we talked for hours over volcanic ash wine. The only interruption of the night was when the couple at the table next to us got engaged. We don’t know about you, but we always took that as a good sign! In the years after that date, we continued to have many conversations about “so-bad-they’re-good” movies, celebrity gossip, politics, and every other topic under the sun. We’ve seen Broadway shows, gone fishing, built Ikea furniture, cruised to the Bahamas, rode a rollercoaster that we had all to ourselves, watched the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, and have even been learning to cook! (Only one oven fire!) Many of the times we’ve truly cherished are ones we’ve spent with our friends and family. We can’t imagine starting our married life without each and every one of you. You are all so important to us, and it won’t be a party without you. We can’t wait to dance the night away with you!
