Question

When should I book my hotel room by?

Answer

We recommend booking as soon as possible as there are a select number of rooms in our room block. The earlier you book, the earlier we can see how many rooms are reserved which will help us determine if we need to add more rooms.

What is due at the time of booking my hotel room?

Answer

An initial deposit of $100 per person is due upon booking your room. If you elect to have the travel protection, you will also be responsible for paying the total protection plan cost per person at the time of booking.

How long should I stay?

Answer

The room block is a 3 night minimum so we have set the travel dates as Thursday, April 24- Sunday, April 27. If you would like to add more days to the beginning or end of the stay you can do this at the time of booking however rates will be subject to the hotel room rate at the time of booking not the room block rate.

When should I book my flight by?

Answer

For international flights it is recommended to book 5-6 months in advance which would be October-November 2024

Do I need a passport?

Answer

What are the payment deadlines for my hotel room?

Answer

If you do NOT get the travel protection your room must be paid in full by 1/5/2025. If you DO get the travel protection, you must make a minimum payment of 50% (half) of the reservation total by 1/5/2025. The remaining balance payment will be due by 2/20/2025. Any reservation not paid to the required amount by these dates will be canceled automatically.

How do I make my payments?

Answer

Once you receive your booking confirmation email a link to the payment website will be included. There you will have 2 options; Pay as you go or a 6, 12, or 18 month Affirm financing plan.

Is there transportation to and from the airport?

Answer

Yes, there is shared round trip transfer included in your room booking. This transportation will get you to and from the airport and hotel upon arrival and departure. Please keep in mind this is shared transportation and may make multiple stops before getting to El Dorado.

How do I book my transportation?

Answer

On the payment website page there is a link at the bottom of the page titled "Ground Transportation". Click the link in that section to add your flight information which will be used to schedule your transportation.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only those who received a save the date email from us with the booking link are invited at this time. Our room block is only for guests invited to wedding events. If someone would like to book their own room directly through the hotel to join you in Mexico for vacation they are welcome to do so, however they will not be able to attend wedding events. With a destination wedding comes restrictions for guests and we hope everyone can understand!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is beachy formal! Please keep in mind all wedding events will take place in a sandy area so wear appropriate shoes (or none at all!)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the ceremony location at least 20 minutes before the start time. There are free shuttles that run around the resort every 15 minutes so please factor in travel time.
