Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, you must RSVP in order to secure your seat at the ceremony and reception. Our vendors need an accurate count so that we can accommodate all guests in attendance. If we do not receive your RSVP by Friday, August 15, 2025, you will not be able to attend.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We invite you to RSVP online from the "Home" page or under the "RSVP" tab for the ceremony and/or reception. Entering your name will allow you to RSVP for you and your plus one, if allotted.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

It depends. If "and guest" or your plus-one's name is written on your wedding invitation, you can bring someone. If not, then, due to venue restrictions, you cannot bring a plus one.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

No, we love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 18 on our wedding day. Take the night off and leave the little ones at home! Get ready for the best adults-only wedding you'll ever go to.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire in neutral colors is preferred. No jeans, flip flops, or white.

Where is the wedding ceremony and reception venue?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception are being held at the same venue, Marion Magnolia Farms, at 57376 Twin Lakes Rd, Cassopolis, MI 49031.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 2:30 pm to take your seat for the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 pm.

What time will your wedding reception end?

Answer

The reception will end at 10:45 pm, and all guests must exit the venue by 11:00 pm.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar.

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

No, this is a smoke-free venue. Per our contract with the venue, smoking in the event barn or farm premises shall not be allowed, and any offender shall be ejected from farm premises immediately. Client will be charged $50 for each violation. Should you wish to smoke, you can do so in your own vehicle and dispose of any trash in your vehicle.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 1504 Evergreen Place, Elkhart, IN 46514. We will also have a wedding card box at our reception.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

No, we will be having an "unplugged ceremony" and respectfully request that guests do not take photographs during the ceremony, as professional pictures will be taken.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

To preserve the special moments of our day, we kindly ask that guests refrain from posting photos on social media until we share our official wedding pictures.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, cocktail hour will be indoors and outdoors, and the reception with be indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typically in late September, it is between 60 and 70 degrees in Indiana.
