We were both holiday help at Pandora Jewelry when we met. The first day we met, he told me he was going to marry me one day. I thought he was crazy! We found out we have the same birthday and we became friends. We stayed friends for 6 years before we started dating.

Anthony got promoted at work and he told me his boss deicded to take us out for dinner to celebrate. We both were excited because it was our first time out during the pandemic. He told me we had to meet his boss at Liberty State Park. Anthony seemed really quiet in the car which was odd. We parked the car and we started walking. He then had us walk up a grassy hill and he said we will wait for his boss here. We started looking out at the NYC skyline. He pointed out Battery Park and said “that is where our first offical date was” and then he pointed out the Statue of Liberty and said “that is where I asked you to be my girlfriend” and then he turned to me and said “and here is where I am going to ask you to be my wife”. Before I realized what was happening, Anthony was on one knee and asked me to marry him.
