Flight

Volaris

For our trip, we’ll be flying out of Tijuana using the Cross Border Xpress (CBX) in San Diego. We wanted to share this option in case you’re interested in booking similar travel for the weekend.

Flight

Viva

This is another airline that can be taken out of the Tijuana airport using the CBX crossing.

Travel Note

San Diego CBX Border Crossing

If you plan to use the CBX crossing in San Diego to access the Tijuana airport, please note that each traveler must purchase their own CBX ticket, which typically costs around $37–$45 per adult for a round trip. We recommend buying tickets in advance to secure the best rates. CBX also offers group and family ticket options for those traveling together. Guests may also park their car at the CBX facility. A link to parking information can be found below.
