Our Story
Alec and Marisa both graduated from Travis High School in the same class, but somehow managed to avoid each other entirely. Marisa went on to Texas A&M and Alec went on to Sam Houston State. Despite attending different universities, they managed to finally talk in college through mutual high school friends. They immediately had a lot in common and stayed in touch for the next few years.
Marisa moved to Dallas in 2020. In early 2022, Marisa was super excited to get a call from Alec saying that he got a job in Dallas and needed a tour guide. They quickly became inseparable and have been ever since. Marisa turned Alec into a foodie and an avid traveler. Alec became Marisa's personal trainer and was the listening ear she always needed.
In September 2024, Alec proposed to Marisa at her family's lake house with their sweet dog Maggie by their side. They are so excited to merge their families and celebrate with all of you on June 28th!
