Flight
JFK, Newark, LaGuardia, & Islip MacArthur
There are many options for air travel into the area. For international visitors JFK is the best option as it is the easiest to travel to Long Island. Newark is an option, especially for those who will be spending some time in NYC. LGA is also available for those who connect through Canada. For those flying domestically, especially from the Baltimore/Washington area, Islip MacArthur is only 10 minutes from the wedding venue. LGA also offers domestic service.
Train
LIRR, Jersey Transit, NYC Subway
The easiest way to get from NYC to Long Island is the Long Island Rail Road. From JFK the AirTrain runs to Jamaica station where you can connect with the LIRR. From Newark Airport, New Jersey Transit runs to Penn Station where you can connect with the subway and the LIRR To the hotels take the LIRR Ronkonkoma Line. For the Raddison the Deer Park stop is closest. For the Hilton Garden Inn and the La Quinta the Ronkonkoma station is the closest. For the Wedding there is a stop right in Great River on the Montauk line. More frequently there are trains to Babylon, a short drive away.
