As most do these days, we met on Bumble. After some chatting back and forth, we decided to meet up. Our first meet-up was with a group of others at Hi-Wire Brewing in Charlotte. We met and it went well! We followed up with another date a few days later and another and another. We had 4 dates the first week alone! We went on our first cruise together in Nov 2022 and have been on 4 total. We love to travel and have gone somewhere every month we’ve been together!

We were on one of Marisa’s favorite hikes outside of Brevard, NC with a couple of waterfalls and a bunch of stream crossings. Brad kept talking about the waterfalls but our first visit to the waterfall there were other people. We kept on our hike and after another couple of miles, Brad suggested we go back to the waterfall. Marisa slipped on the way and was all muddy. Then we got back to the waterfall a 2nd time, Brad started being extra sweet and he got down on one knee and proposed. Marisa immediately accepted. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
