Will and Jonathan became close while working together at Novant Health in Winston Salem. They share a passion for Medicare for All, labor organizing, and organizing the south, and Will is a huge resource and influence for Jonathan's journalism. They have worked closely together for years through Healthcare for All, NC, to build coalitions around healthcare justice.
Rosemary Ostfeld
Maid of Honor
Rosemary went to the same high school as Marion but they didn't know each other until after Marion had graduated, and Rosemary, who is two years younger, had taken Marion's old place as a coxswain for the men's crew team. Marion helped train her, and they both coxed for Blood Street Sculls women's masters' rowing in Old Lyme, CT. Early on, Rosemary flipped over in her boat while docked (she didn't know yet that the cox has to get out before the rowers take their oars up). Marion helped her out of the water, got her a towel and drove her home. Their friendship went from there!
