Mario and Mike met at Camp Thunderbird where Mike ate the chalk from the film canister survival kit. It was then Mario realized he should stay away from that kid. Good thing he didn’t! They would meet again three months later at Totem Jr High at the start of their 7th grade year, starting a friendship that has followed them ever since. Mike later married Mario’s cousin Natalie, whom introduced Emma to Mario.
Annalise Miller
Maid of Honor
Annalise is Emma's sister, best friend, confidante, and an all around awesome person. She will be arriving home soon from 2 years abroad in Namibia, serving in the Peace Corps. She is kind, driven, intelligent, giving, and Emma couldn't imagine getting married without Annalise by her side.
Jeremy Black
Groomsman
Mario and Jeremy met on their first day of 10th grade. Not only were they classmates but practically neighbors. The Plazola’s had just moved a few miles from their previous home and Jeremy was one of the first friends Mario made in their new neighborhood. A friendship that would stay with them through high school, the dorms at Central Washington University, and all the shenanigans and tomfooleries thereafter.
Chloe Sahai

Chloe is Emma's best friend, neighbor, nurse colleague, synchro teammate, and thinks so much like Emma she could probably finish most of her sentences! Emma and Chloe met at the pool when Emma was her daughters' swim instructor, and became fast friends. Emma convinced Chloe to swim synchro, Chloe convinced Emma to become a nurse, and the rest is history.
Darren Mobley

In the summer of 1996 Mario’s then girlfriend left him for Darren. Mario and Darren then had to face each other the coming fall as 7th graders at Totem Jr High. They started off as foe, but soon became friends, skateboarding to each other’s houses and causing trouble. They cause less trouble now and don’t skateboard as much, instead opting for cribbage and scotch.
Natalie Montgomery

Natalie and Emma swam synchro together growing up and spent many hours carpooling to practice and talking about boys and the woes of teenage life. All these years later, they still swim and coach synchro together and spend hours talking about life! Natalie is Mario's cousin, and had been trying to set them up for ages but had to wait for the stars to align to make the connection. So technically, she's the reason this shindig is happening!
Justin Murray
Groomsman
The muscle of the group. Mario and Justin met through mutual friends in 2005. What started as fantasy football rivalry later evolved into the bond they have today. Justin has pulled Mario from rivers, pushed him up mountains, and saved his skin on multiple occasions.
Nicolle Galtland
Bridesmaid
Nikki and Emma met in ballet class at 3 years old - and have been best of friends ever since! They spent their childhoods playing together and doing arts, crafts, and outdoor activities that their moms designed for their Campfire group. As adults, Emma couldn't be more grateful to have such a genuine, loyal, intelligent, and creative friend.
Justin "Squared" Thornton

There was already a Justin in the group, so for the last fourteen years Squared has embraced the moniker bestowed onto him by Justin Murray. Squared is one of the happiest guys you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. His zest for life is unmatched. If we are lucky, Squared and Darren will serenade the wedding guests before the night is over. Mario met Squared in 2006 through mutual friends, and has been on countless outdoor adventures with him.
Kayleigh Walter

Kayleigh and Emma met working together as teenagers at the King County Aquatic Center, and became even better friends as room mates in college. Emma especially loves Kayleigh's quick wit, kind heart, and ability to find a silver lining in every challenging moment, especially when she laces it with her signature sarcasm ;)
Bryan Murray
Groomsman
Mario’s unofficial golf coach and close friend. Whether on the dirtbike trail or the altar, Bryan is the guy you want for support. Bryan’s wife still thinks Mario egged her house in high school. Investigation results were inconclusive, and the case has gone cold.
Amani and Anisa Sahai
Flower Girls
Amani and Anisa are Chloe's daughters, and technically met Emma before their mom! Emma was their swimming instructor when they were very little, and ended up becoming close friends with the whole family. And now they swim synchro on the same club as Chloe, Natalie, and Emma. They are kind, intelligent, feisty girls and Emma loves seeing them grow up. She couldn't imagine her wedding without her girls leading the way!
John Hardie

John had a major impact on Mario during their teenage years and the two have been friends for over two decades. John is practically family, and has always motivated Mario to push himself to reach his full potential. We could not be more excited to have John officiate our ceremony.
Ben Nelson
Master of Ceremonies
Mario and Ben met at Cub Scout camp when they were 8 years old. They were energetic, loud, and drove everyone’s parents crazy. Their paths crossed again when they were in 7th grade at Totem Jr High. Lucky for both their moms the boys eventually calmed down and started running less amok. Ben is quite the orator and showman and the perfect person to lead the ceremony.
Morgan Chase

There is one thing for certain: Morgan is the life of the party. Mario and Morgan are thick as thieves and have been since their childhood and have gone together like peas and carrots ever since. Morgan is Mario’s cousin and dear friend. When the two are together you will likely hear them quoting movies or past memories. They will likely be creating new quotes on August 1st !

Seth is Emma's brother. Seth's creativity is unmatched, and he always livens up the party with his big sense of humor and boisterous personality.
