Multnomah Falls is one of the tallest year-round waterfalls in the United States and is the most visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest. There are several hikes to explore around the falls, or if hiking isn't your thing, grab a bite to eat at the lodge at the base of the waterfall. One of our favorite spots in Oregon!
One of our favorite things to do is to get outdoors and go hiking. There are over 158 hiking trails with varying levels of difficulty near Mount Hood, making it an incredible place to go exploring. AllTrails is the easiest way to find information on trails (like permits, recent weather reports, and trail distance/altitude). Eagle Creek is a favorite. If you want to puke try Dog Mountain.
pFriem is a cool local brewery right on the Columbia River.
A staple in Hood River for anyone looking for a relaxing soak after a long travel day. It features an indoor saltwater soaking pool, an outdoor hot pool, a cold plunge pool, and a cedar sauna. Reservations required.
