It all started on Tinder, where they both swiped right and started making memories... Mario and Melissa first met in 2015, where they bonded over their love of life, sports, food, and traveling. They had 3 weeks to get to know each other before Melissa left to play basketball in Iceland for 8 months. Not knowing what was going to happen, they started their long distance relationship. Eventually, Mario flew out to Iceland to visit for a whole month! After the 8 long months apart, they were both finally back in California. Melissa and Mario started off living in different parts of California- Santa Monica, Torrance, and Irvine. After Mario graduated from UCI, he received a job offer in Austin, Texas. It did not take them long, to decide that they were ready for this next adventure in Texas. They have lived there for over 2 years and just bought their first home. They also have a fur baby, named Sammie. She has quickly become their entire world.
