After taking a break from using dating sites, Mary decided to create a dating profile on Facebook. With a few swipes, Mario pops up! Mary went back and forth with viewing Mario's photos trying to see which one was the best photo and was he really cute. BOOM... little did Mary know, Mario had already swiped YES to Mary. The couple text for a week before having a phone conversation. On March 9, 2021, Mario drove 2 hours to meet Mary and they met in a Publix parking lot to go to the Strawberry Festival. Mario had never been to this fair and never had a corndog. Mario was so nervous, he had to go to his car three times before they were able to leave for the fair. He stated he forgot his jacket, his wallet and wanted to make sure he locked his car door.

Mario can become very bashful when it's time to become affectionate in public. We went out for dinner in Tampa, enjoyed the atmosphere, food and drinks. Later in the evening as the sun went down, Mario got on one knee and asked Mary would she be his "forever lady". Of course it was a YES without any hesitation.
