We met in high school in 2003 and moved to the same neighborhood in 2005. We would see each other everyday, say hello in passing and converse when necessary . Mario always had a "crush" on me but we never pursued anything. We went years without communication, ran into each other once and he reached out to me in June of 2020 to say Happy Birthday. We arranged a visit to catch up & connected immediately. Lets just say our Love Story started on that day. It was so easy to fall in Love with him, He felt like Home!!!

On Labor Day weekend, we had a gathering with family and friends. I knew that this would be the best day to pop the question. The plan was to do it in front of everyone but I was too anxious and nervous. She was standing at the dining table with a few close people and I couldn’t hold back any longer. I walked over & greeted her with hugs and kisses like I always do. Once she turned around, I got on one knee and everyone started screaming. She was so confused! I expressed my Love to her and asked the biggest question of my life, I never thought the word YES could bring me so much joy. Of course most of our family and friends missed that moment, we had to reenact it so they could get photos and videos.
