That shift almost didn’t happen for either of them. Dami had to work overtime convincing her parents to let her go out on a school night, and Mario nearly passed on the extra work altogether. But fate, or maybe just stubbornness, got them both there. Mario is blunt and unfiltered, while Dami is daring and impossible to intimidate. Neither of them went for the obvious move of asking the other out. Instead, they chose something more their style: a challenge. Mario dared Dami to hog-tie him, expecting her to hesitate, but she didn’t even blink. Somewhere in that mix of nerves, laughter, and boldness, their story began. Complete opposites, yet somehow they balanced each other perfectly. What started as a playful dare quickly became something neither of them expected. And just like that, their story began, one that led exactly where it was meant to. Cue the happily ever after.
