FAQs

The Wedding Website of Brianna Collora and Mario Grippa
Please reach out to us with any questions or concerns! Below are some common questions!
Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony/recessional?

Answer

Please turn off all phones and refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony, including the recessional. This allows our professional photographers and videographers to capture the ceremony beautifully and without interruption. We invite you to be fully present with us and more than anything, we want to see your joyful faces as we exchange vows — your presence means everything to us. We promise to share our photos and videos as soon as we have them!

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

You may arrive to the church any time in the afternoon, but please arrive no later than 1:30pm so that you may find your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm and no guests will be permitted to interrupt the precetional. We recommend going to the area earlier in the afternoon, if possible. Please note that there tends to be heavy traffic throughout eastern Long Island over the summer and that increased traffic is expected due to it being Memorial Day Weekend. If you have extra time, there are many great wineries, restaurants for lunch, and coffee shops close by! See our "things to do" tab or reach out for recommendations!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

While we appreciate that our loved ones’ loved ones want to celebrate with us, we will be hosting a small, intimate wedding. Due to space limitations set by our venue, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

What is the theme of the wedding?

Answer

Our cocktail hour and reception will feature a coastal garden party theme! Feel free to incorporate elements of this into your outfit, but there is no pressure to do so!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Think: midi or long dresses (more formal than a sundress but less formal than a gown) for women and suits or blazer and dress pants with a tie for men. See the header photo for ideas/inspiration. Although the reception will feature a coastal garden party theme, please feel free to wear any color/style that you are comfortable in! Please avoid jeans, flip flops, shorts, and sneakers.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love kids, we’ve decided to have an adults-only celebration. Thank you for making arrangements.

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

Our favorite restaurant, Farm Country Kitchen, will be catering! We will have a variety of proteins, vegetarian options including fish and pasta, sides, and vegetables. When you RSVP, please let us know if you have specific dietary concerns and we will be sure to accommodate you!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be inside. The cocktail hour will be fully outdoors on grass (weather permitting, so cross your fingers for us!). The reception will be both indoors and outdoors.

Question

Can I park at the church / venue?

Answer

Both the church and venue will have parking available for guests.
