As with many other things in this world, COVID-19 has disrupted our wedding plans. However, we have decided to proceed with our December 12, 2020 wedding ceremony. We could not be more excited to be married and will have a more intimate wedding that is in accordance with the guidelines that are set in place. More than anything, we are thankful for the support and love of our village. With that in mind, please know that there will absolutely be an online option for those who are unable to attend to enjoy the ceremony as well. Thank you for your love and support during this time. April and her friend were hanging out at a local restaurant and lounge when Mario in true gentleman fashion, politely asked the bartender what April was drinking and sent her her favorite cocktail. As April and Mario were enjoying the night with their friends, the bar was approaching last call when April summoned for Mario to come over so she could thank him for his kind gesture. April introduced herself and Mario introduced himself as well and they exchanged contact information. They spent every day with each other from the time they met. Their relationship was official April 2017 and as they say....the rest is history.
Mario and I knew early on that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. On November, 30, 2019, two days after my 35th birthday, Mario threw me the most memorable surprise birthday EVER! He had managed to secretly gather my closest friends and family from near and far and it was truly a touching moment. So they called me to the front to sing "Happy Birthday" and right after Mario got down on one knee and popped the question!
