Answer

While we would love to have your kids join us, we want you to enjoy the evening. Please make the necessary arrangements for them to stay at home. The only kids who will be attending will be the flower girl.

Yes, we will be providing transportation to the hacienda from a meet-up point in Bogotá near the wedding hotels.

Do I need a visa to enter Colombia?

Answer

U.S. and Mexican citizens do not need a visa to enter Colombia, but you are required to complete an online registration process prior to boarding your flight. Moreover, there are COVID protocols that you should follow, please check online with your Embassy.

Mexicanos y estadounidenses no necesitan visa para ingresar a Colombia como turistas. Sin embargo, todos los viajeros deben llenar un formulario de pre/registro antes de ingresar al país. Además, hay protocolos COVID en pie que se deben seguir. Por favor busca los requisitos online con tu embajada.

How far is the wedding venue from Bogotá?

Hacienda La Victoria is a 90 minute drive from downtown Bogotá. We will be providing transportation to and from the hacienda for all guests leaving from the wedding hotels.

What is the weather like in Bogotá in May?

Answer

Please prepare for chilly and rainy conditions. It'll be cold at night, and could drop as low as 45 degrees. During the day, it'll be around 65 degrees.

Will you have a registry?

Answer

We will be doing what's called a "lluvia de sobres," a Colombian tradition in which guests can bring envelopes with a little cash if they wish. It is not necessary, we are more than grateful to just have your presence on our wedding day.

No tendremos registro para regalos, pero haremos lo que tradicionalmente se conoce como "lluvia de sobres". Si lo desean, pueden traer sobres con algo de dinero para depositar en un buzón que tendremos disponible durante la celebración.
