We’re getting married!

Mario and I first crossed paths on August 25, 2019, at a college party. We were quickly introduced by our mutual friend, Kayla Nicole Subia. The next day, I texted Kayla to ask about her cute friend, and she told me his name was Mario. Fun fact: Mario remembers exactly what I was wearing that night! On August 28, 2019, Kayla and I were walking out of class when she spotted Mario. She called out for him to wait up. We met again, but it was mostly Kayla doing the talking. Later that day, Mario asked Kayla about me, and I did the same, asking for his social media. In January 2020, I had some car trouble and knew that Mario worked at Discount Tire, so I reached out to him. Through our conversations, we got to know each other better and set up a date. On January 17, 2020, Mario picked me up from my apartment, and we went to see "The Grudge" at the movies. From then on, we spent almost every weekend together, building a friendship and getting to know each other. On February 1, 2020, the rodeo was in town, and we went to the carnival with one of Mario’s friends and his girlfriend. Fun fact: That night, we ran into Mario’s parents! We were barely getting to know each other and already meeting the parents! On May 2, 2020, after hanging out with friends and coworkers, Mario officially asked me to be his girlfriend. On November 18, 2023, Mario proposed to me! Our dear friend Ava DeRicco did an amazing job capturing this special moment. God willing, on September 28, 2024, we will begin the next chapter of our love story.
