Where do I park for the reception?

Answer

Please note there is no parking directly at the venue so you will need to park your car in the main Zoo parking lot as shown above. Complimentary transportation will be available from the main Zoo parking lot to the Bissell Tree House, using either the Funicular or the Zoo’s shuttle service. If you’re using maps for directions, set John Ball Zoo as your destination — entering Bissell Tree House will not take you to the correct parking location.

Are children and plus ones allowed?

You’ll find details on your invitation if a plus one or children are included. While we would love to celebrate with everyone, our reception space is limited. Thank you so much for understanding!

What is the attire?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to join us in formal attire. Suits, formal dresses, or elegant cocktail attire are all wonderful options.

What do I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our ceremony wraps up at 3 PM, and the church kindly asks that all guests exit by 3:30. The reception venue is just a quick 5-minute drive away, so you’ll have a little time to relax before the celebrations continue! Feel free to grab a drink or snack nearby, or take a stroll through the John Ball Zoo and say hi to the animals. Cocktail hour kicks off at 5 PM with appetizers, followed by dinner and dancing!
