Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Welcome to Colorado! Weather in the high country can change very quickly and without warning! Please be prepared for weather events such as rain or even snow. In general, expect temperatures in the mid to high 60s during the day and 30s at night.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Mountain formal - Similar in style to cocktail attire- dresses, jumpsuits, pantsuits, slacks, linen pants, button downs with or without ties, and summer suits are all acceptable attire as long as they are in the earth tone color palette. Please be aware the terrain may be rough or muddy. Make responsible decisions!

Question

Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to wear earth tones. Think rust, ochre, sage, olive, terracotta, cream, and tan. Avoid black suits. Please keep this in mind when choosing the attire to attend our wedding to help our vision come to life! Here are some images to inspire your outfit selection: https://pin.it/7EBUiaQ

The ceremony will take place outdoors in a pasture, and the reception will be held inside at nearby Rocky Mountain Guest Ranch. Guests will meet prior to the ceremony and walk to the ceremony location.

Answer

The ceremony, reception, and lodging will all be at Meeker Park, which is located at 11733 CO-7 Allenspark, CO 80510. Travel time from Denver is about 1 hour 40 minutes. Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We anticipate that all guests will stay on site at Meeker Park on Sunday 6/19. We will also stay there the following night, 6/20. We encourage those who are able to stay for both nights! Question

Will there be any other activities happening?

Answer

We are hosting a welcome square dance on Sunday 6/19. We see this as a time for our family and friends to mingle and get to know each other. Don’t worry, no prior square dancing experience is required! Later in the afternoon on wedding day, (with enough time for a quick nap) we will be meeting at The Barrel in downtown Estes Park for a post wedding happy hour. Neither of these events require an RSVP, we hope you’ll join us!

Question

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes! We’re very excited about the brunch grazing table that we have planned for the reception. There will be vegetarian options included. There will also be an open bar with beer, wine, canned cocktails, as well as a mimosa bar.
