Le Caveau
If you come into town Friday night, this award winning wine bar has become our home away from home. It is located directly above Good King Tavern, which is also an amazing spot to grab dinner. We recommend the burger :)
Machine Shop
Located in the Bok Building in South Philadelphia, this award winning bakery is a great place to grab a coffee and a pastry. One of our favorites is the everything croissant stuffed with goat cheese, but really you can't go wrong.
Angelo's Pizzeria
Actual best cheesesteak in the City. Calling in advance will test your persistence, but it's worth it.
Superfolie
One of our favorite spots in the Rittenhouse area. A European oasis in the heart of Philadelphia, perfect for a bite and a glass of wine. Owned by the same owners as Le Caveau. Opens at 3 PM on Saturdays. Pro Tip: Their lead sommelier usually has something fun up her sleeve, so always ask if they have any wine on special before you order ;)
Barcelona Wine Bar
Where this journey all began. For the authentic origin story experience, order the Eggplant Caponata. Otherwise, our favorites are the Fig and Chorizo, the Ham and Cheese Croquettes, and obviously, the Olive Oil Cake.
