Man of Honor
Since birth, Benjamin and I have been inseparable. From watching Hannah Montana together on VHS tapes, dressing up as princesses to now supporting each other through major changes, we have experienced it all. He has always been there for me when I was struggling... except when he was the one who caused the struggle oops! He is irreplaceable, kind, a great listener and loving, and I can't imagine having anyone else standing up with me on our special day.
Bridesmaid
Alexa is one of my frousins, cousin and friend combined into one. From the little girl who wouldn't let go of Alexa, sitting outside her bathroom or waking her up too early in the morning, to now being intertwined in each others lives. Cycling mornings followed by coffee talks, organizing her closet, helping each other with chores or getting peppermint shakes from chicky, it has always been special. No matter how annoying I was in the past , she has continued to love me and show up for me in every step of my life.
Junior Bridesmaid
I have known Eloise since she was born. We quickly realized that the Garrisons would always be family. Eloise couldn't pronounce my name at first, I became mean (matched my personality) but that name then became Reen. She is the one and only creator of my forever nickname. She has been so fun to play with, love and watch grow up ever since she was born.
Bridesmaid
Morgan and I met in college and were roommates during our sophomore and junior years. We made it through some rough times, quickly realizing that we were each others' best roommates, then best friends. Our friendship has only gotten stronger since COVID, helping each other through grad school as well as our teaching experiences. Our love for the Bachelor Franchise, teaching passion and spontaneous fast food runs that turned into nightly runs (hehe)... I don't know what I would do without her.
Bridesmaid
Haley and I met at LOFT. We worked together for almost a year, but it wasn't until the fall of 2020 that we clicked while working together as Sales Leads. After spending almost every day together, we both quickly realized we were meant to be friends. Through all of the tasks that our job brings, we found that our friendship grew outside of work. Between our membership at Cooper's Hawk, getting our nails done and getting margaritas, there has never been a dull moment when spending time with each other.
Bridesmaid
Alex and I met in youth group back in 2013 when I moved to the US. Between church services, confirmation classes and youth group gatherings, we realized how inseparable we were. Even with going to 2 different schools, we always made time for one another looking forward to spending every minute together on the weekends. She is one of the many who has supported Matt & I since the beginning. Our love for Nicki Minaj, Trillers and running through memories, she has always been a constant.
Ring Bearer
Gus is Eloise's sister, another family friend known since his birth. His fiery personality and attentiveness to the people around him, make it so hard to not to love him and match his energy when spending time with him. I have been able to watch Gus grow up since he was born. Matt was also able to get to know him through the years. Whether it be pool parties or holiday celebrations, it is so important to us to have him as part of our special day.
Ring Bearer
Conley is Matt's youngest cousin, who joined the party a couple years ago. We have loved Conley ever since he was born, being a part of his gender reveal, baby shower and all of his milestones since. With his high energy and loving heart, we can't wait to see all of the wonderful things he does. Between his football tackles, truck passion and millions of kisses, we are so lucky to have him play such an important role.
Best Man
Hayden is my little and only brother. We used to play tackle football in the backyard, one on one basketball in the front yard, and endless video games on the weekends. Hayden lost every time. Despite all the times he tattled on me or threw his shoe at the wall, I can't imagine laughing at everything with anyone else.
Groomsman
Jonathan is one of 3 who I lived with during my college years. For some reason, Jonathan had an 8am class every single day, pulled 24 hour EMT shifts and managed to be in every club on campus. He shares the same faith values as me and would always motivate me to do spontaneous things.
Groomsman
Jashan is also another roommate from college. He knows everyone in the world and is always willing to meet more people. Consequently, he chooses not to do things alone and always wants someone there with him. As our schedules always lined up, this left us with hours to watch movies, eat Roots and talk about the meaning of life.
Groomsman
Kiernan and I were also in the same dorm and clicked immediately. Our passion for Mario Kart, music and delicious food became the cause for many late night talks. No one else will share our sometimes horrific but fun memories bouncing at Trin, a bar on campus. We always made time to hang out, and have cheffed up some great meals along the way.
Groomsman
Our friendship formed during the first bus ride on the 1st day of 6th grade. Playing computer games when we weren't supposed to and talking about things that were more interesting than school is what got us through 7 years of the IB program. From hosting pool parties to starting a band, the memories will last forever.
Groomswoman
Kenzie and I actually met through Jonathan. She spent more time in our dorn than in her own freshman year. After that, whether it was below or next door, Kenzie was always nearby for some good times. Because she is from Florida, she was the only friend in the group that had a car. She always got us there, whether it was having our backs, transporting me to see Reen or wineries during our senior year. We had just as much fun going out partying as we did doing homework at 2am.
