The couple met at their friends' wedding in Rome, Italy. Marina was a bridesmaid and Steven was a groomsman, could I make it any more obvious? On the first night of the trip they sat near each other at dinner and vibed instantly. The good vibes kept rolling and made their way back to the states. So much so that as Marina got picked up from the airport she told her parents that she had met her soulmate. Steven and Marina then started a long distance relationship for about 7 months. Their secret? nightly long calls and Facetime dinner dates. Eventually, Steven made the big move from Cleveland to Chicago to live with Marina and her dog Waverly. Officially starting what would be the first chapter of the rest of their lives. They first met traveling the world and when they finally were together it was nearly impossible to keep them in one place! Starting literally 3 days after Steven moved in they immediately went to Glacier National Park in Montana and have since been on endless adventures together in Costa Rica, Boston, Sedona, Banff, and more! They first fell in love with Milwaukee after attending a Brewers game on a weekend trip witnessing an extra innings win. Their love came to a head on December 30th, 2024 in Vail, Colorado when Steven got down on one knee. They are so excited to share their love on their special day with the people they cherish the most!!
