FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is casual - please wear your Sunday best outfit. The ceremony will be outdoors in a grassy area. Ladies, please take this into account when choosing your heels!

Question

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes! There is a dirt parking lot at the venue. We will make sure there is signage for our guests.

Question

Is the venue undoor or outdoor?

Answer

Outdoors! The ceremony will be held in a grass area, while the cocktail hour, and reception will all be in a covered area. As the evening progresses it may get a bit cool, we recommend bringing a light jacket.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate addition guests due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be addressed to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. We ask that you arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony to ensure you're able to find the venue, get parking, and settle in before it begins.

Question

Are there any colors I should avoid?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos you would like and use the photo QR code to upload them to a shared album.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes! We both have growing families, keep in mind there will be loud music and people drinking throughout the night.
