It is funny how the world works sometimes. Marina had agreed to tag along with a friend to a graduation party of someone she had never met. As she arrived at the graduation party there was a handsome fellow in a baseball uniform just leaving for his game. They saw each other for a moment and according to Jordan, during baseball his mind was occupied with the thought of "I hope that girl is still there after the game!" After baseball Jordan didn't take the time to change, instead he rushed back over to the graduation party. Alas, Marina was still there, and Jordan mustered up the courage to go talk to her. As they talked throughout the night they were two of the biggest smiling faces at the party. Soon after, Marina and Jordan had their first date, in which Marina out-fished him- and the rest is history!

Jordan proposed to Marina on December 24th, 2021 - In the same spot where Marina's Dad proposed to her Mom over 35 years ago. By the stone bonfire pit, which sits under an old oak tree, next to the lake Marina grew up on. It was a special moment that meant so much to Marina. The best early Christmas present possible!
