Marina and Jake have known each other since middle school. After years of being in the same classes, hanging out in the same friend group, and hurdling together, they finally started dating after high school graduation. College took Jake to UMass and Marina to Merrimack College, but despite the distance, they made it work. They visited each other often, always stopping at Hot Table when Marina came to Amherst, or Harrison's when Jake was in Andover. After four years, they found their way back home to Foxboro before moving in together in Dorchester, MA. After a year and a half in Dorchester, Jake proposed to Marina at Granite Links, a special place where they spent plenty of afternoons playing golf and evenings celebrating life’s big moments together.
