The Pearl and the Pearl Farmers Market
We love walking around and eating through all of the the incredible restaurants at the Historical Pearl located right along the River Walk. The Pearl also hosts a great Farmers Market every Saturday (9am to 1pm) and Sunday (10am to 2pm).
Japanese Tea Garden
The Japanese Tea Garden is open daily (7am to 5pm) and offers free admission. Located near Brackenridge Park, the garden is great place to walk around and stop in for a tea or lunch.
San Antonio Missions National Historical Park
Hike or bike along the Missions Trail to visit San Antonio's five Spanish colonial missions, including the famous Alamo!
San Antonio Museum of Art
We went to the SAMA on our first date! Also located right along the River Walk, check out San Antonio's historical art museum and eat at the lovely Tre Trattoria.
Southtown
Explore incredible food, bars, shopping, and art in Southtown. Grab brunch at the Guenther House, get some authentic Tex-Mex at Rosario's, or stop by La Frite for our favorite belgium bistro. And be sure to check out Hemisfair Park and the King William district nearby.
