Marina and Amani's story began at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming where Marina started volunteering at the Military Working Dog Kennels. Amani had already been working at the Kennels as a Military Working Dog Handler for a little while. What started as a sharded interest quickly turned into conversations, laughter, and easy connection. Before long, Amani asked Marina out on a date, which soon became many more. Marina was hesitant at first - she wanted to be sure there was no hint of favoritism and was focused on doing the right thing. But, through the time shared at work, it became clear their connection was built on respect and sincerity. From volunteering at the kennels to everyday life, their bond grew naturally, built on shared values, kindness, and love for each other soon to become side by side to continue for a lifetime.
