FAQs

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes! We love your little ones and would be honored to have them celebrate with us. Just keep in mind the ceremony will be outdoors, so plan accordingly for their comfort.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation says “and guest,” then yes! If not, we’re keeping things intimate due to space — but we’re so excited to celebrate with you either way.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both will be held at Olson Mansion in Maple Valley. Once you arrive, you’re set for the whole day.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to park, settle in, and enjoy the view. The ceremony will begin promptly, and we’d love for everyone to be seated and ready.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. Our ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), and March in Washington can be chilly or damp — so please dress warmly and comfortably while keeping it elevated. Suits, slacks, midi or long dresses, jumpsuits, and closed-toe shoes are perfect. We recommend bringing a jacket, coat, or wrap — and shoes you won’t mind on soft grass.

Question

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes — there is free parking on-site at the venue.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP! We’ll do our best to make sure there’s something delicious for everyone.

Question

I still have questions!

Answer

Reach out to either of us — we’re happy to help with anything we missed!
