Prairie Lights Books and Cafe

Our favorite coffee and book shop. In case you didn't already know, Iowa City is pretty famous for its literary presence (given the Iowa Writers Workshop). Prairie Lights, a part of that lit scene, is a popular independent bookstore. Our coffee recommendation: The Black Rider

Stanley Museum of Art

The University of Iowa's art museum, which features a number of different collections and exhibitions (of largely modern art). Admission is free of charge.

University of Iowa Museum of Natural History

Stop by the UI's Museum of Natural History to see a broad range of collections that comprise over 140,000 specimens, objects, and artifacts (including archeology, mammology, and entomology). Admission is free of charge.

Sacred Heart Adoration Chapel

Our favorite place to pray. Located in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the beautiful Sacred Heart Chapel offers adoration and exposition of the blessed sacrament 6am-9pm.

PinSeekers Tiffin

~20 minute drive away from downtown. Swing away in their all-weather Inrange golf suites, enjoy mini bowling, test your putting skills, or immerse yourself in their multi-sports simulators.

Coral Ridge Mall

Go shopping at the Coral Ridge mall in Coralville (~20 minute from downtown). There is also a movie theater (Marcus Theaters).
