Mike and Marilyn discovered each other on Match.com in early 2021. After two months of texts, emails and lunch break chats over the phone, they decided to finally meet in person. The night before their scheduled first date, Marilyn got "cold feet" and politely notified Mike via text she was canceling and had no intention of rescheduling.
