Free drinks, we're getting married!

Marilyn- After a weekend in New Orleans marching with the bands in the French Quarter, tapping my toes to Jazz down Frenchman street, music gave me life! I returned to LA with a new outlook on love;I wasn't going to LOOK. I headed to work with luggage in my back seat and before the day was over I got a call from my friend "hey, want to join me tonight for a screening at The Parker Room in Hollywood?" We watched a Mockumentary, tired & still in work clothes I made the best of it. We headed to the bar to order drinks and I stood next to this really cute white boy with a beard and silky golden hair. His name was Kevin. Before we left he handed us his card, said we should attend one of his music jams, I said ok. That was the end of that night. 4/15/2019. Two weeks later we had our first date and it was magical from a butterfly landing at our feet at the beach, rainbow in the sky, "Stardust" by Nat King Cole vocals in my ear, and oh... I knew this was special. Kevin- Man, was I loving life as a bachelor in LA! Driving around in my old Porsche (thinking I'm hot stuff) and swingin' with killer musicians whenever I had the chance. Life was good, life was free, and I was not out for love-know what I mean? I'd had enough of the whole "looking for love in all the wrong apps" scene everyone seemed to be engrossed in. THEN, that whole persona came crashing down beautifully when a woman like no other I had seen in my life walked into a bar. I was waiting to watch a mockumentary, but without my knowledge, the universe had me waiting for Marilyn. From the moment she walked in, to when she stood next to me, to when she accidentally touched me and my entire body felt shock waves. By the end of the night, our hands met for the first time and I knew I never wanted to let go. That was 4/15/2019. Well, to cut to the chase, I resorted to insta-stalking and literally told her "I HAVE to see you." Thank God she said "How's next Sunday?"-now, I'm spending the rest of my Sundays with her.
