It’s like the greatest television love story. Boy sees girl. Girl sees the boy. Boy loves girl. Girl loves boy. Boy loses girl. Girls tell boy he never actually lost her. Boy wins girl back. If only it was that simple. It was winter of 2020. After tumultuously relationships, One of us were ready to start a new. The other not entirely sure, so she gave him until MLK Day. From that day forth, there were no more doubts. The chemistry was like none either have ever experienced. From dates to trips to just being in each other’s presence anyone could see the love and affection we shared for each other. We were inseparable. At least, that’s what it would seem. Then life had it’s way. We went our separate ways. It wasn’t for the best but it was the only thing we could do at that moment. We had a moment to rekindle everything that seemed to be lost but one of us (Edwar!) didn’t get the hint. The moment was wasted. Months go by, life goes on…(DELETED SCENE) and they realize they can’t go on without each other. People knew this moment was coming. They all anticipated it. Then September 30, 2023, Edwar FINALLY asked Marilyn the one thing he wanted to ask her for so long! Her response, “I have to go pee! Oh, and YES!” Our journey hasn’t been the easiest but it definitely continues the only way it can, walking hand in hand, heart to heart, with souls aligned for the rest of our lives and beyond.
